Karnataka Heritage Tour 2 Nights / 3 Days
Bangalore - Mysore - Hassan - Bangalore
Day 01: Bangalore / Mysore: (140kms/3hours)
Day 1 of the Karnataka Heritage Tour starts with departure from Bangalore for Mysore. On the way, visit Srirangapatna - Island fortress of Tippu Sultan, the legendary Tiger of Mysore who put up a valiant fight against British domination. Visit Tippu’s Summer Palace, Mosque, and Sriranganatha Temple. Upon arrival, check in to a hotel and have lunch. Then move to visit Maharaja Palace-built in 1911-12 by Wodeyar Rulers, the palace is a splendid structure in the Indo-Saracenic Style, it's attraction is a magnificent gold throne. Visit Chamundi Hill, Brindavan Garden - the famous gardens at the Krishna Raja Sagar Dam. Return to hotel and enjoy a sumptuous dinner. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 02: Mysore - Hassan: (125kms / 3hours)
Start day 2 with a breakfast, and checkout to proceed to Hassan. On your way, visit Belur. It is located on the banks of the Yagachi River. Visit Halebid. The ancient capital of the Hoysalas is 17kms away from Belur. The temple is a sculptural extravaganza. Upon arrival in Hassan, check in to a hotel. Have dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 03: Hassan - Bangalore: (180Kms/4Hrs)
On day 3, have breakfast, and checkout to proceed to Bangalore. On the way, visit Shravanabelagola - a famous Jain pilgrim center in Hassan. Watch Shravanabelagola, Asia’s largest monolithic statue of Lord Gomateshwara (58ft). Get a drop to the airport or railway station. The Karnataka Heritage Tour ends here.
