Day 01: Arrival in Chennai
Arrive in Chennai – the gateway of South India. Chennai is the capital city of Tamil Nadu and one of the oldest cities of the country. On arrival, South India Travel Tourism representative will receive you from Chennai Airport and then transfer you to the pre-booked hotel. Freshen up and relax. Later proceed for an orientation tour of Chennai visiting Kapaleeshwarar Temple, Snake Beach and Marina Beach. Enjoy dinner and stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 02 : Chennai – Excursion to Kanchipuram and Mahabalipuram
Have a very hearty breakfast at the hotel. Take excursion to Kanchipuram and Mahabalipuram to see famous temples and monuments. Kanchipuram is worldwide famous of architecturally beautiful temples. Mahabalipuram Group of Temples (Monuments) is a UNESCO world heritage site. See the famous Shore Temple and Rock Temples at Mahabalipuram. Return to Chennai in the evening and check-in at the hotel. Freshen up and relax. Enjoy dinner and stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 03 : Chennai – Pondicherry
Have a very hearty breakfast at the hotel. Later proceed to Pondicherry. Reach Pondicherry. On arrival, South India Travel Tourism representative will transfer you to the pre-booked hotel. Freshen up and relax. Spend rest of the day at leisure. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.

Day 04 : Pondicherry
Take delicious breakfast served at the hotel. Later proceed for sightseeing tour of Pondicherry visiting Aurobindo Ashram, Auroville, Government Park, Matri Mandir, Beach, etc. Spend rest of the day at leisure. Freshen up and relax.

Day 05 : Pondicherry – Tanjore
Have a very hearty breakfast at the hotel. Later drive to Tanjore. Reach Tanjore and check-in at the hotel and relax. Later proceed for sightseeing tour of Tanjore seeing Sri Brahadeswara Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva with its architectural excellence. Visit the Art Gallery where you can find remarkable collection of bronze icons, stone sculpture and pieces of art. Visit the Saraswati Mahal Library which is the most remarkable library in India. Also visit the Royal Museum which displays rare antiques belonging to the Maratha Royal Family. Spend rest of the day at leisure. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.

Day 06 : Tanjore – Madurai
Have a very hearty breakfast at the hotel. Later drive to Madurai which is the second largest city of Tamil Nadu and noted for Meenakshi Amman Temple. Reach Madurai & check-in at the hotel and relax for a while amidst the comforts of your room. Later visit the Meenakshi Amman Temple. You will be awestruck by seeing its magnificent soaring gopurams. Also visit the Thirumalai Nayak Palace. Witness prayer ceremony held at temple in the evening. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.

Day 07 : Madurai – Thekkady (Periyar National Park)
Take delicious breakfast served at the hotel. Later drive to Thekkady famous for Periyar National Park or Wildlife Sanctuary. Reach at Periyar and check-in at the hotel and relax. Later proceed for a Wildlife cruise on the Periyar Lake to see a large variety of wildlife like Wild Elephants, Nilgiri Langur, Sambar Deer, Wild Bison, Wild Boar etc, and quite a lot of unique birds can also be spotted. Later take spice plantation tour to see nearby spice plantations. You can also enjoy bamboo rafting, trekking and elephant ride at Periyar National Park. If time permits also visit the local spice market for some green fresh spices and exquisite handicrafts of Kerala. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.

Day 08 : Thekkady – Kochi
Have a very hearty breakfast at the hotel. Later drive to Kochi. Kochi, formerly called Cochin, is an important city and economical capital of Kerala, God’s Own Country. It is fondly described as the Queen of Arabian Sea. Reach in Kochi. On arrival, South India Travel Tourism representative will transfer you to the pre-booked hotel. Freshen up and relax. Later proceed for sightseeing tour of Kochi seeing Chinese Fishing Nets, St. Francis Church, Santa Cruz Basilica, Jewish Synagogue, and Mattancherry Dutch Palace. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.

Day 09 : Kochi – Departure
Have a very hearty breakfast at the hotel. On time South India Travel Tourism representative will transfer you to Kochi International Airport. Take flight back to your home / onward destination with sweet memories of travel and tourism in South India.
